June 1, 2005- current: Family Support Specialist. Child and Family Resources.

• Provide families at risk during pregnancy and after the birth of the baby with
the support and tools they need to provide for their infant through home
visitations.
• Strengthen families during the first five years of their child’s life by
providing information on child development, nutrition, safety education, and
teaching appropriate parent-child interactions and positive discipline.
• Link families with community services, health care, child care, and housing.
• Encourage self-sufficiency through education and employment, while providing
emotional support and encouragement to parents.

assessment tools, including any referrals for screening if delayed.
